BIOGRAPHIE

Anita Krohn Traaseth is Chair, Non-Executive Director and member of the European Innovation Council Board (EIC). She was previously CEO of Innovation Norway (2014-2019) and became the first female CEO of Hewlett-Packard Norway in 2012. As former CEO of Innovation Norway, one of the Norwegian Government’s most important financial instruments for innovation and development of Norwegian enterprises and industry, Innovation Norway delivered 24% more services to Norwegians business, reduced operating costs by 6% and was awarded the Most Attractive Employer of the year by students three years in a row. Krohn Traaseth has also led the Norwegian government’s committee for innovation and growth in the Green sector towards 2035.

Krohn Traaseth has more than 20 years of experience from both the private and public sector, with an Executive Master of Management degree from BI Norwegian Business School and an executive certificate in strategy and innovation from MIT Sloan Management.

In 2018 Krohn Traaseth was ranked as one of the top 50 global business thinkers by Thinkers50 Radar, and amongst the top 50 most inspiring women in European Tech in 2015 and 2016. In 2012, she received the Oda award for best female leader in the IT industry in Norway.

Krohn Traaseth is a bestselling author of two #1 books on leadership in Norway (2014, 2021), she’s a columnist at Aftenposten and delivers a weekly podcast on career and leadership.
