If you wish to be considered for opportunities as they arise, please send us your CV at <a href=\"m&#97;&#105;&#108;&#x74;&#x6f;&#x3a;dr&#104;&#45;&#x72;&#x65;&#x63;&#x72;ut&#101;&#109;&#x65;&#x6e;&#x74;&#x2d;c&#111;&#110;&#116;&#x61;&#x63;&#x74;&#64;u&#110;&#105;&#118;&#x2d;&#x6c;&#x6f;rr&#97;&#105;&#x6e;&#x65;&#x2e;&#x66;r\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">&#x64;r&#x68;&#45;&#x72;&#x65;c&#x72;&#117;&#x74;&#x65;m&#x65;&#110;&#x74;&#x2d;c&#x6f;&#110;&#x74;&#x61;c&#x74;&#64;&#x75;&#x6e;i&#x76;&#45;&#x6c;&#x6f;r&#x72;&#97;&#x69;&#x6e;e&#x2e;&#102;&#x72;.<\/a> For further information about the University of Lorraine <a href=\"https:\/\/www.univ-lorraine.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">please visit our website<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"gb-headline gb-headline-0e959d6d gb-headline-text\">Recruitment to Junior Professorship Chair<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gb-headline gb-headline-8a47fafa gb-headline-text\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:var(--ul)\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Recruitment published from July 22, 2026, 10:00 am to September 18, 2026, 4:00 pm (Paris time)<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Law on Research Programming has created a new type of pre-tenure-track position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Junior Professorship Chair are a new way of recruiting on the basis of a research and teaching project allowing, at the end of the term, between 3 and 6 years, and after evaluation of the scientific value and professional aptitude of the agent by an evaluation commission, access to a tenure-track position of university professors and assimilated or of director of research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Requirements for applicants:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Hold a doctorate or an equivalent degree (upon recognition by UL Scientific Committee).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The list of supporting documents to be attached to the application<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your application file, consisting of the application form entered online, must include the following items:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>An official identity document with a photography;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A document certifying that you hold a PhD, or an equivalent degree (whose equivalence must be recognized by the University of Lorraine Scientific Committee);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The PhD examination report, or a certificate from the institution stating that no examination report has been drawn up;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An analytical presentation of the works, books, articles, achievements and activities related to the profile of the Junior Professorship Chair tenure-track position in question, mentioning those that the candidate intends to present at the audition;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A copy of each of the works, books, articles and achievements mentioned in the analytical presentation and which the candidate intends to present at the audition, not exceeding six documents.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The CPJ application form to attach to your analytical presentation: click here to download the form<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Candidates who are or have been for less than eighteen months a teacher-researcher at a level equivalent to that of the post to be filled, in a higher education institution in a country other than France, must indicate this status.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Administrative documents written in whole or in part in a foreign language must be accompanied by a translation into French, the conformity of which the candidate certifies on his or her honor. The translation of the analytical presentation is compulsory and the works, books, articles and achievements in a foreign language must be accompanied by a summary in French. Otherwise, the application will be declared inadmissible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Your application must be registered and submitted on the new <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/odyssee.enseignementsup-recherche.gouv.fr\/accueil\"><strong>Odyss\u00e9e<\/strong><\/a><strong> ministerial platform (which replaces Galaxie) <u>no later than 4:00 pm on September 18, 2026.<\/u> Any application incomplete by the above-mentioned deadline will be declared inadmissible.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Please note: the platform will not alert you to any non-compliant documents.
