The Université de Lorraine supports the international mobility of its PhD students through its DrEAM! program (Doctor, Explore and Achieve More!). This program offers an attractive financial support to PhD students enrolled in any disciplines at the Université de Lorraine or at one of I-SITE’s partner establishments who would like to carry out a research stay of 2 to 6 months in a research unit abroad.
Since its launch in 2019, DrEAM has enabled hundreds of PhD students from UL to make their mobility project a reality all around the world. They were thus able to immerse themselves in a new cultural and scientific environment and to participate in the development of prestigious international collaborations that prove beneficial to the entire university community.
You are given a new opportunity to apply for it with the opening of DrEAM Episode 20: applications are now open until 5 June 2026 included.
The terms and conditions as well as the application form are available, in both French and English, directly on the DrEAM page of the doctoral website.
Applications must be submitted directly on ADUM. You will find a dedicated tab on the home page of your account. You are required to have your thesis supervisor, your head of unit research and your employer (if different from UL) sign your application by 5 June at the latest.
