Offers students scientific exposure to the research activities of researchers and doctoral candidates in the fields of ecology and microbiology in order to:
- Grasp the concept of the environment and ecosystems
- Understand the role of microbiomes in ecosystems
- Study these microbiomes across different scientific domains

Join us!
Club activities:
- Visits to laboratories and platforms of the A2F science hub
- Attendance at seminars, conferences, HDR (habilitation) presentations, and thesis defenses within laboratories of the LECOMIC network (Lorraine Microbial Ecology)
- Participation in site visits (anaerobic digestion platform, forest plots, aquarium, wastewater treatment plants, …)
- Discussion and exchange through informal science socials and games
- Participation in research projects (conducting experiments, data analysis, field sampling, literature reviews)
Practical information
- Student engagement: active participation in club life; contribution to group projects (e.g., data analysis)
- Supporting laboratories: IAM, LIBio, Lae, SILVA, DYNAMIC, UR AFPA, LIEC, LCPME (A2F hub platform)
- Regular steering meetings every two weeks (may vary depending on projects; venue: FST classroom)
- Additional meetings as needed
