ASSOCIATIONS

In Nancy: Erasmus Student Network (ESN)

ESN Nancy is a student association dedicated to welcome you, support you, and help you integrate into the Université de Lorraine.

ESN offers to:

  • help you with your administrative and settlement procedures upon your arrival in France, such as finding accommodation, insurance procedures, and opening a bank account;
  • invite you to take part in intercultural and social events to discover French culture and meet other students.

In Metz : Comme un poisson dans l’eau (CUPE)

Want to make your time in France even more unforgettable and get to know native French speakers? The Comme Un Poisson dans l’Eau association is just what you’re looking for!

CUPE offers to:

  • support you with your administrative procedures and your settlement in France;
  • help you integrate into life in Lorraine through a wide range of activities, including cultural events, social evenings, trips, and language tandems.

In nancy

The “Voyage Voy’âge” programme (UDAF 54)

The “Voyage Voy’âge” programme, run by UDAF 54, invites you to take part in a wide range of events and activities. This intercultural and intergenerational programme offers opportunities to meet and connect with senior citizens.

It is a great opportunity to build relationships, exchange cultures, share experiences, and discover different life paths in a friendly and supportive environment.

In METZ

MultiPerspectives

MultiPerspectives is an association that offers multilingual and multicultural spaces for exchange in Metz.

Through activities and events focused on languages and cultures, the association encourages dialogue and social connections between people of all ages and backgrounds. You can meet the association in various places, such as cafés and bars, on the university campus, or in youth centres.

The association organizes the New Year of World Cultures, as well as language workshops, film debates, and other friendly events that promote intercultural encounters.

Lor’Explore

Lor’Explore is a student association based in Metz, created in 2025. It organizes friendly events to energize student life around languages, culture, and the discovery of Metz and the Lorraine region.

The association runs “Speak and Savor”, language exchange events focused on gastronomy, “French Pub Nights”, immersive evenings in French, and board game nights that encourage intercultural meetings.

Lor’Explore also offers guided tours of Metz to help students discover local heritage in an accessible way. All activities are open to everyone and aim to support the integration of both French and international students.
