Choosing your course

Develop your skills according to your fields of interest. At the Université de Lorraine, we offer a comprehensive range of courses in all fields of study and at all degree levels.

Guest postdocs and researchers

The Welcome@Lorraine program provides international researchers hosted by LUE’s local partners with “VIP” assistance for stays of at least 3 months.

Joining the Buddy System

A “buddy” is a tandem made up of a local student and an international student on an exchange program or free mover. Thanks to the Buddy System, you can meet a local student who will guide you throughout your stay in France.

Learning French in Lorraine

Would you like to take French as a Foreign Language (FLE) courses during your doctoral studies, employment, or research stay in Lorraine? Several options are available, depending on the time you wish to dedicate, your budget and your availability.

Learning French with DéFLE

Prepare for your academic year at the Université de Lorraine by participating in the intensive FFL program organised by the DéFLE (Department of French as a Foreign Language). 1 or 2 weeks of classes? It’s up to you!
