WHAT’S A buddy ?
A buddy is a student tandem: a local student (a mentor) and an international student (a mentee) in international exchange or individual mobility (free-mover).
We can put you in contact with a local student who’ll act as your guide throughout your stay in France. They’ll be there to welcome you on the day you arrive in Lorraine and help you:
- get to know your campus and host city
- carry out your administrative formalities in France
- find somewhere to live
- find a job
- practice a new language
- meet new people
- integrate into the local culture
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Buddy System is an online platform. All you need to do is register and provide some information about yourself (date of arrival in France, hobbies, age, campus, etc.). It takes less than 10 minutes.
Then you’ll be assigned a buddy suited to your profile and you can start getting to know each other.
Consult your dashboard to read your messages, view your Buddy’s profile, and events and services available in your city.
