4th Transnational Literary Journalism Summer School “Comics Journalism, BD Reportage, Documentary Manga: Graphic Literary Journalism around the World”

Literary journalism, comics journalism, documentary manga

This five-day summer school will explore how current trends in graphic literary journalism are reshaping the media landscape. Eight principal themes will be explored (war and trauma, immigration, drug trafficking, autocratic politics and social inequalities). Professional French cartoonist Yan Lindingre will hold a masterclass on documentary graphic reportage for the attendees.

AI for Human Robot Interaction

AI for Human Centered Robotics

The AI for Human–Robot Interaction summer school offers an intensive 5-day program of keynotes, lectures and practical sessions led by experienced AI and robotics experts. Participants will engage with top researchers and will be tutored to use AI models and methods on real robots, advancing in their knowledge to deploy human–robot interaction systems grounded in recent advances in artificial intelligence. They will have the opportunity to engage with industry leaders building and deploying AI methods in the real world.

How can museums be made more inclusive? Art, technology

Participants will attempt to answer the question: how can museums be made more inclusive? You will work in teams to design a game playable inside a museum and accessible to all using 3D scanning and printing technologies, laser cutting, augmented and virtual realities. Many cultural or sport activities are included, as well as convivial meals at the restaurant to discover French gastronomy.

Hands-on macroeconomic modelling: learn to build, estimate, and analyse DSGE models

This Summer School, open to Master’s students, Ph.D students, early-career researchers, and professionals, offers 30 hours of intensive training combining theoretical lectures and hands-on workshops in Matlab/Dynare, with a progression from the RBC model to New Keynesian extensions and Bayesian estimation. The final day features applied research seminars and a policy-oriented roundtable, with contributions from central bank speakers. Applications are open until April 30, 2026, with rolling evaluations starting on March 15.
