Every year, the Université de Lorraine welcomes around 10,000 international students and PhD students as well as researchers in its training departments and laboratories.

Thanks to our close contacts and partnerships with a wide range of institutions involved in everyday and local life (ESN-Nancy, CUPE-Metz, CROUS, CAF, Prefectures, CPAM, etc.) our Welcome Desks can provide you with information and support for all the administrative procedures you will need to settle in Lorraine (Student and Campus Life Contribution – CVEC -, grants and financial aid, accommodation, health insurance, visa validation, residence permit request, etc.).
