Are you a new international student arriving at Université de Lorraine this September?
The Welcome Desk invites you to the Welcome Day in Nancy to help you get your stay in France off to a great start!
This welcome event is the perfect opportunity to meet the University’s services and partners, get answers to your questions about daily life and administrative procedures, and connect with other international students in a friendly and festive atmosphere.

Programme
4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Salle Chepfer (1 rue Pierre Fourier): Meet the University’s services and partners at the information stands. Ask your questions, take part in a fun treasure hunt, and collect plenty of Welcome goodies.
7:30 pm to 9:45 pm, Grands Salons (1 Place Stanislas): Join us for a French Apéro with welcome speeches, drinks and appetizers. It’s the perfect opportunity to meet other international students and start building your network.
⚠️ Please note: the doors of Nancy City Hall will close at 8:00 pm. No entry will be possible after this time.
From 10:00 pm: Continue the evening at the After Party organised by ESN. The venue will be announced during the French Apéro.

Registration required
Participation is free of charge, but registration is mandatory as places are limited.
Registration will open in early September. New international students will receive the registration link by email.
This event is exclusively for international students joining Université de Lorraine for the September 2026 semester.
