Euraxess France
In France, the Euraxess Association, of which the University of Lorraine is a member, is coordinated by France Universities. It has over 46 members with different statuses (universities, associations, foundations, and research organizations). In total, it represents more than 100 individuals dedicated to assisting international doctoral students and researchers settling in France.
The Euraxess France Association is a trusted partner for the Ministries with whom it maintains regular communication. The University of Lorraine has been an active member since its establishment in 2013
Euraxess Centers at the Université de Lorraine
Within the European and International Relations Office, 2 Euraxess centers (in Nancy and Metz) work closely with all central services of the University.
They assist you in all stages of your stay in Lorraine, from entry and residence formalities in France, finding accommodation, affiliating with health coverage, opening a bank account, to information about the schooling of your children and all aspects of daily life. Finally, at the end of your doctoral or research contract at the University of Lorraine or its partners, they will assist you with your stay or job search procedures and formalities.
Drawing on a network of local partners (prefectures, CPAM, etc.), the aim of the Euraxess centers of the University of Lorraine is to individually guide you step by step in your procedures in order to facilitate your stay in Lorraine and provide you with an environment favourable to your academic and personal development.
