Complementary or mutual health insurance

In France, Assurance Maladie (Health Insurance – Social Security) doesn’t reimburse all your healthcare costs. Complementary (or mutual) health insurance covers the remaining costs to be met by the policy holder.

Health Insurance

In France, Health Insurance is mandatory and free for students. Also called “Sécurité Sociale”, this public body covers a percentage of your healthcare costs.
