HEALTH service

Don’t miss these two appointments:

  • The “Health Check” appointment (preventive medicine): The SHS invites you to make an appointment in order to take stock of your medical, social and psychological situation. The appointment will be with a nurse and a doctor, who’ll direct you to other professionals from the service (social worker, psychologist, midwife, etc.) depending on your needs.
  • The tuberculosis screening appointment for non-EU students: International students from high endemic countries are given an appointment (after their administrative registration at UL) at the Regional University Hospital Center’s (CHRU) Tuberculosis Control Center (CLAT) in Nancy. Students concerned will be screened twice and provided with appropriate medical assistance if the screening is positive.

Find the geopgraphical areas with high incidence of tuberculosis on the Infovac-France website. For more information on tuberculosis, please consult the World Health Organisation (WHO) website.
