How do I Sign Up ?
University students can sign up using their Université de Lorraine credentials (Sesame). Future students must create their own account using their own email address and choosing a password. They must then validate their account with the security key: HOUSINGLORRAINE.

Do I need a guarantor to rent my accommodation ?

Need help with the security deposit ?
Pay the security deposit required by your lessor immediately thanks to the LOCA-PASS advance, and repay it in instalments over a maximum period of 25 months. The maximum amount that the advance can cover is €1,200.
Housing assistance (APL or ALS)
Even if you are not on a student grant, you may still be eligible for the Personalised Housing Assistance (APL) or Social Housing Allowance (ALS). Both these forms of housing assistance are granted by the Family Benefits Fund (CAF) based on social means (income, family circumstances, type of housing, etc.). They cannot be received as well as parents’ family benefits for children under 20 years of age. Students who wish to receive housing assistance are no longer considered to be dependent on their parents for entitlement to family benefits.
