Erasmus Mundus Master in Georesources Engineering – EMerald

The EMerald Master programme was created to answer the urgent need expressed by the European Union to create a resource-efficient Europe. As the EU recognised the importance of mineral and metal resources in our modern economy, it also realised that the raw materials industries were facing a critical skills shortage. The EMerald Master programme aims to train a new generation of engineers with an entrepreneurial mindset and a global vision of the value chain, putting the extraction of mineral and metal resources at the beginning of a circle which ends by collecting end-of-life products and recovering valuable materials out of the urban mines (circular economy).

European Master in Language & Communication Technologies

The Erasmus Mundus European Masters Program in Language and Communication Technologies (LCT) is designed to meet the demands of industry and research in a rapidly growing area. It offers education and training opportunities for the next generations of leaders in research and innovation. It provides students with profound knowledge and insight into the various disciplines that contribute to the methods of language and communication technologies and it strengthens their ability to work according to scientific methods. Moreover, the students acquire practice-oriented knowledge by choosing appropriate combinations of modules in Language Technology, Computational and Theoretical Linguistics, and Computer Science.

European Master in Lexicography (EMLex)

Would you like to be a part of an internationally renowned master program and educated in the academic field of lexicography? Then what about becoming a student of the elite study program European Master in Lexicography (EMLex), an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree that offers a highly valuable and worldwide unique education? You will be able to study at different European universities, to establish international academic contacts and to increase your professional opportunities tremendously.

Master Design and Application of Metallic Alloys for Structures (DAMAS)

An International Research Master built around two major themes of materials sciences; mechanics of materials and microstructures, is available at Université de Lorraine. The teaching is given in English. The objective of this new research master is to train high-level executives in metallurgy and in mechanics of materials. At the end of this course, the students will possess all knowledge necessary to pursue their career in academia or towards industrial research.

Master Erasmus Mundus “Decentralized Smart Energy Systems” – DENSYS

Decentralised smart energy systems (e.g. isolated villages, small cities, urban districts, rural areas connected or not to the electric grid, etc.) play an increasing role in the perspective of a transition towards a low carbon society and then of a massive integration of renewable energy sources within the global energy system.

Master in Biology and Ecology for the Forest Agronomy and Environment – track Forests and their environments (FEN)

The MSc program is a research-driven approach to the understanding and management of forest ecosystems, providing fundamental and applied knowledge on the organisation, functioning and dynamics of forest ecosystems and communities (including tree physiology, biogeochemistry, ecology, genetics) and on the major quantitative tools of ecosystem observation and experiment analysis (GIS, statistics, modelling). Specific emphasis is placed on the interaction between forest ecosystems and their environment, including global change issues.

Master in Biomechanics

The general aim of this course is, for the students, to acquire knowledge about the biomechanics of the musculoskeletal system and more specifically about the development of patient-specific medical devices.

Master in Chemistry – Molecular Chemistry and Physicochemistry (MCP)
