Research data

Université de Lorraine supports its researchers in managing their research data, guided by the national plan for open science.

The operational committee for research data organises a range of training programmes on managing research data in general and particularly on drawing up data management plans (required by the European Union or the French National Research Agency/ANR for example).

It oversaw the creation of Université de Lorraine’s research data repository, which launched at the end of 2021, with a view to providing researchers with an effective and straightforward solution for storing and distributing their datasets and ensuring basic use and promotion of them.

Open Science at Université de Lorraine

Université de Lorraine has strongly endorsed Open Science since 2016 and opened its own institutional archive, HAL-UL. The University has made Open Science a key pillar of its 2018-2022 strategy.
