An intensive research university embracing the full spectrum of scientific disciplines, Université de Lorraine is actively involved in the creation and transfer of knowledge and technological innovations to civil society, businesses and cultural stakeholders.

2,400 research professors and researchers are the driving force behind our research activities within 60 recognised, structured research units, nearly half of which operate as part of a thriving partnership with leading national research centres (CNRS, Inserm, INRAE and Inria).
