Since 1 January 2022 and the overhaul of Université de Lorraine’s previous university press, Les Presses universitaires de Nancy-Éditions universitaires de Lorraine (PUN-Édulor) have become Les Éditions de l’Université de Lorraine (Édul).

Édul is a public scientific publishing house committed to excellence and open science. In this regard, Édul publishes the highest-quality scholarship in printed and digital format from all sources, by French and foreign researchers, which chimes with the themes and disciplines for which Université de Lorraine’s expertise is globally acclaimed.
In keeping with Université de Lorraine’s commitment to open science, one of the hallmarks of Édul is to publish all scientific works in print and digital open access format simultaneously.
WITH SOCIETY AT LARGE
Édul strives to raise the University’s profile not just within the scientific community but also beyond. That’s why, in addition to outstanding scientific collections, it will provide access to prestigious publications on the university, a collection intended for the general public which will broach current scientific themes, manuals and so on.
COMMUNITY-WIDE SYNERGY
Over and above its publishing activities, Édul leads a network of Université de Lorraine publishing professionals from the University’s research units and faculties. The network’s aim is to foster constructive dialogue between these professionals, enhance information sharing and enable skills development among all of the staff involved.
Although Édul is Université de Lorraine’s new university press, it will continue to promote and commercialise the whole of the PUN-Édulor catalogue.

Noureddine Takorabet, Professeur des universités, enseigne à l’ENSEM. Il est, depuis 2018, directeur du GREEN, laboratoire de recherche de l’Université de Lorraine.
